The Shiba Inu ecosystem has announced a new upgrade for the ShibaSwap DEX, introducing enhanced user interaction and swap features.
For context, the official X account of theShiba Inu ecosystemposted on Friday that ShibaSwap has “just leveled up.” For the uninitiated, ShibaSwap is the decentralized exchange of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, which allows users to swap and stake SHIB, LEASH, and other ERC-20 tokens.
Better ShibaSwap Interface and Utility
Notably, the new upgradeaimedto enhance the user experience on the DEX by improving its user interface (UI).
The new look is modern and mobile-friendly, enabling users to make smarter selections of blockchains and tokens for trading.
Notably, the developer team also rolled out a fast or cheap swap smart routing option that allows users to choose their priorities while trading.
The fast option analyzes multiple paths to provide the quickest transaction possible, while the cheap option focuses on giving users the most cost-effective means of transacting on ShibaSwap.
ShibaSwap Extends Support to Over 17 Blockchains
Adding to the glow-up, the upgrade introduces true cross-chain swaps, broadening the platform’s multi-chain use case.

Specifically,ShibaSwapnow allows users to swap tokens across over 17 networks, including Ethereum, Polygon, Base, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and others, directly on the platform.
Furthermore, the upgrade introduced the “Positions” page, serving as the central command center for liquidity providers.
This means that all liquidity pool positions, including V1 and advanced V2, are now on a single page, simplifying the process of adding and removing liquidity or collecting earnings.
Shiba Inu Building the Future of DeFi
Meanwhile, the upgrade adds to the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s focus on building the “future of DeFi.” The Shiba Inu team has committed to this course, rolling out upgrades and features designed to attract mainstream adoption.
Thelast ShibaSwap upgradeoccurred in February, and since then, developers have been seeking ways to improve the user experience on the DEX further.
Notably, the previous touch-up debuted a dashboard that showed users key metrics, such as liquidity, TVL, and trading volume, in real time.
Nonetheless, the Shiba Inu ecosystem remains committed to building, as lead visionary Shytoshi Kusama has often stressed.
Many believe that Shiba Inu could potentially cancel more zeroes in its priceif utility and adoptionincrease.
